Here Kitty Kitty..........

Hiya,

It was supposed to be warm today not here by the coast we had a windy day as usual, put a little chill in the air i thought!!! Even my 2 boys didn't want to play out, too cold they said! Watched the grand prix instead.

Anyway onto my card for today, i thought i would do a Kitty card.

Firstly i embossed (sizzix) some stars onto silver mirri card, matted it onto Black card. Then matted a strip of stripey paper onto pink card. Die cut 3 small circles to go underneath the 3 little cats.Attached a cute glittered die cut embellishment of a cat with the word Kitty underneath. Attached 2 pink Gems and 2 black tabs with 2 small gems on top.

Summery Happy Birthday............

Hi Everyone,

Still not been that warm today has it? I don't know what has happened to our summers like we used to get in the 70's - 80's.....

Anyway today's card is one i have made with a summery feel to it using bright colours

I used a digital image from Whoopsi Daisy i coloured it in using promarkers
Background paper is from Riverbank revels by Hels Cuppleditch(trimcraft).
On top i added a scalloped square(sizzix) die cut of red/pink painted paper and over the top embossed some vellum with a sizzix embossing folder.
Attached a strip of dotty ribbon, and some silk flowers finished with buttons.  Over the ribbon matted a message.
And finally attached a dragonfly charm and some beads(was actually part of a costume earring from years ago).

We 'Fish' you a great day!

Hi Everyone,

I would like to show this card to the make it Monday team. I loved this card and I sent it over to Perth in Australia to my dad's uncle, he loved it.

make it Monday - this is an old post, thanks Louise

Do you ever wake up feeling moody?, today is one of those days, i don't know why but i have no patience today, and don't want to do anything and feel tired!!!!  Oh well, will have to snap out of it....

On to today's card, i made it with the idea of a male summery feel to it.

I stamped the image using a Whimsy Stamp, coloured it in using promarkers and layered it onto craft paper, die cut them both out using wonky rectangles dies from spellbinders.  Matt and layered some blue tartan style paper onto craft card, Embossed some starfish(sizzix) onto blue vellum and wrapped around some twine. I then die cut a crab (sizzix) and rubbed him down a little then attached some googley eyes. Stamped a message onto some white card and die cut using the spellbinders wonky rectangle dies then i  matt and layered it onto craft paper.

I like this card it is going to go to one of my brother in law's...

Hi Everyone,

Today's card is a card i made for the Week 2 of the new Crafty Friends Challenge Blog, i am lucky enough to be a Guest Design team member for this challenge.

I used the lovely Digital image from Cupids Clear Stamps

I printed out the image and coloured it with Promarkers (Pastel pink,Pink Carnation,Budding rose,Dusky Pink), also i used a couple of Sakura Pens (720,700,722,800). I attached a couple of buttons onto the bags.
I die cut the image using the reverse wonky rectangle dies from Spellbinders.  The base paper is a piece of Dovecraft Glamour Prints 6x6 paper pack, matted and layered then stitched around the edge.  Attatched a velvet piece of ribbon, and a stripey bow, and message die cut using the reverse wonky rectangles (manipulated a little!again from Cupids clear stamps.

It's your day to shine....

Hi Peeps

Sorry for the long gap between posts, i have had rotten flu for over a week now, still have it, so i haven't wanted to do anything!!! Which is impossible with two boys under 4!

Today's card is one i made with a favourite stamp of mine it was the first one of the magnolia range i got as a present for my birthday of my son, i helped him order it for me!!!!

I used the Magnolia stamp and coloured it with promarkers, i sat her on a toadstool i got from another stamp set(think it was Jane Nestorenko), matted it onto some glittered red paper.  I matted some flowered paper onto the same red paper(red glittered paper from papercellar), Die cut a red (painted with red paint) scalloped square( sizzix die).  Die cut some red swirls from a Marianne Design Creatables set. Embossed some clear vellum paper using a sizzix embossing board.  Cut out some flowers from the patterned paper and layered everything up, finished it off with a few clear gems on the flowers, and a Message stamped from a Creative expression stamp set.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges

As you like it Challenge - Favourite rubber stamp and why - as i said above it is my favourite as i had it as a present off my son, and it was my first Magnolia stamp i got.
