Space Happy Birthday

Hello,

I have made an easel card for my Nephew's birthday, i love the finished result, i might make another for my other Nephew too.... i must admit every time i have used the spacemen die's i have enjoyed making the card and loved the results!!

Here is the inside
And a close up

I used the Brilliant Sizzix die's for the Astronaut's and rocket ship and planet.  The embossing background were all Cuttlebug embossing folders.  The Black/Coloured card i used is the coordinations black magic card. The aqua card was just some i have had for years.

I attached some red spotted ribbon and some alien brads(Around the block Boy brads), and a peel off greeting onto a card tag, coloured with festive berries distress ink. I also coloured the planet and rocket ship i with Sakura moonlight pens, and stardust pens.

Best Wishes.....

Hi blogging friends,

At last all the rain has stopped, it rained non stop yesterday and last night, the sun is back this afternoon! :-)

Today's card is one I made using a free stamp (somebunny to love)from a magazine.  I coloured it using my promarkers, then die cut it, and then die cut a scalloped circle (spellbinders) out of pink card. I embossed some peach shimmery coordinations card and sanded it slightly. Wrapped some spotted ribbon round the card.  I drawn some faux stitches around the peach card and the base card.
Finally I attached a few cardboard embellishments, buttons, gems and a bow onto the bunny's head.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges

Pollycraft challenge - buttons and bows

That craft place - Faux or real stitching

Birthday Pussy cat....

Hi All,

Here is a card i did with a cat theme in mind.

Firstly I stamped the cat (paper artsy stamp), and coloured it in using my brown and beige coloured promarkers.  I then stamped some paw prints onto pink card using a cat stamp set from lakeland years ago, then attached them either side of the image, then layered it onto brown card. The base of the card I stamped a birdy friend cage (from the lakeland set), I embossed a strip of pale pink card with a happy birthday sizzix embossing board, attached A ribbon along the edge.  I also die cut two circles, and stamped a kitty throne on the top circle.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges

Passion for promarkers  - favourite colour combo I have pink and brown

Really reasonable ribbon - brown and pink, and ribbon

Thanks for looking at my blog.

Special Day

Hi Again,

Here is another card i made using the lovely Joanna sheen - Faye Whittaker All our yesterdays in the garden Decoupage pack.

I built up the decoupage, and layered it on to red card.  I then embossed some blue coordinations card using a sizzix embossing board, and rubbed it over with sand paper. I then attached it to my base card, added some red velvet ribbon to the middle.  I also die cut some green leaves using a sizzix die. I added them under the decoupage image.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges

Happy Birthday...

Hi Bloggers,

Had a brill two days so far watching the Eastbourne Airshow (weather has been a bit poor though, no sign off this heatwave!!), going again tomorrow and sunday.....

Today's card is a Happy Birthday card with an Age on it, 11th birthday.

I have used aWhoopsi Daisy digi image(she looks so much like my Niece it is uncanny).  I have coloured her in using promarkers mostly yellows and limes.

I matted some lemon spotted (papermania) paper onto lime green paper then stitched all around, attached some green peel off 'Happy Birthday' greeting and a few flowers. I also embossed some foil with a Cuttlebug embossing folder and cut it out, coloured it slightly with some lime green and yellow alcohol inks. Stuck a thin piece of ribbon over the top and attached it to the card. Stuck some brown paper onto a die cut tag, then attached '11' chipboard numbers and stencilled the word 'today' using some sizzix white rub on's, also added a bit of ribbon. Finally attached the whoopsi daisy image.

I would like to enter this card into the following blog challenges

Whoopsi daisy challenge - Stitching/anything goes using Whoopsi Daisy image

Crafting when we can - Lemon and Lime

Corrosive challenge - It's only a number

oh sailor boy.....

Hi All,

Today's card is a nice simple card, using a Whimsy Stamp 'The little captain' designed by Crissy Armstrong. I love this stamp, and i was lucky enough to win it on a Whimsy stamps blog Hop(so pleased...). It is currently on offer at Whimsy Stamps.

I Stamped the image onto white card and coloured it in using my Promarkers, i then Die cut (Spellbinders Wonky Rectangle Die)it out and matted it onto dark blue card.  The background is some textured white card stamped faintly with a Kanban Sea stamp and Versamark, then brushed over with Stamps Away Pearl Mica powder, i then matted it onto blue card. I finally wrapped some of my favourite Twine around the card, and attached a 'with love' message.

I hope you like it, i do he is so cute it reminds me of my little boys.....they both are proper blondies!!!

I love the twine because it was the first roll of twine i ever brought, and it is so useful on all different types of crafts, i have now got quite a few colours to choose from, but i think i have used the blue the most.

I would love to enter this card into the following Challenges

Whimsy Inspirations Challenge - Clean and simple

Promarkers Challenge - Challenge 210 Clean and simple

You bring sunshine to my life...

Hi All,

We are due another heatwave this week!! yippee, just in time for the Eastbourne free Airshow 'Airbourne.  We are so lucky that it is on my doorstep, the Red Arrows fly over our house during their display!! Very exciting.

Anyway back to my card for today, i used one of my favourite Pennyblack stamps.

I used a sheet of Totally Tropical flowers paper(free from a magazine 2 years ago) designed by Kate Knight designer for the base paper, then i attached a piece of white card embossed with pastel yellow embossing powder, stamp used was a Sizzix Sun background clear stamp, and then distressed the card with Tim Holtz 'peacock feathers' ink.  Then attached a velvet textured piece of orange ribbon.  I stamped the image with Versa fine black ink, and coloured in using Promarkers, i paper pieced her swimsuit and the ducky, and coloured the ducky's beak, and spots using moonlight Sakura pens.  I die cut her out using a Spellbinders circle die and layered her onto a scalloped die cut.  Attached the image then various flowers, gems and finally stamped the text onto some scrap paper distressed with Tim Holtz distressing ink.
